A part of the Shell Group, a global group of energy and petrochemicals companies, Shell Gas Direct supply gas to small, medium and large business across the UK. The company has been serving the business sector since 1989, and regularly receives high ratings in independent market surveys for their focus on customer satisfaction.
Small and medium sized business customers benefit from highly competitive prices, a smooth transfer process and a free energy efficiency service, as well as a variety of contract options. Shell Gas Direct can offer contracts of up to three years in length, with fixed or variable rates depending on the size and consumption of your business. You’ll be invoiced on a monthly or quarterly basis, and you can clear your balance by cheque, BACS or Direct Debit. Some contracts will only be offered with Direct Debit as the payment method, but as this is usually the best way to save money, it’s no bad thing to pay your bills in this way.
Larger businesses will be served by a dedicated Account Manager, with further options including multi-site deals, support and technical services, energy management advice and emissions trading.
Although Shell Gas Direct will perform manual meter readings if you need them, your business can also sign up for the company’s Automated Meter Reading (AMR) service. This does away with estimated bills, and ensures that you always pay for the gas that you actually consume.
